I heared for pre-searing you can get the stalker, bear, and strider...not sure what you can get post-searing.

I hear that in post-searing you can charm snow wolf and lynx. Dunno if there are any others but I assume there are or will be.

Your pet levels up as you progress too. I tamed a level 2 wolf back in pre-searing and now it's level 7 while I'm level 8 in seared Ascalon.

how effective are pets as tanks? from what i've seen, mobs just attack the character and totally ignore the animal pet...

moa = sorta chocobo thing. pretty cool.

from what i've seen the pets can take a decent bit of damage (mine often takes more than me happily lol) but if they get surrounded they go down quick. They're nice just as that bit of extra damage to a healer, or to keep chipping away at somethings health whilst you heal.

No way my ranger would be without my Moa now. Had it since i was level 5 and it was level 1... now we're both 13 and it is a LOT harder to survive/damage things without the bird there.

Are they, still? I've tried charming Moss Spiders (with a 'friendly' green identifier) and the game has told me "That's not an Animal!", which quite surprised me, since I'd had one a couple of BWE's ago.

Guess I'll have to (sniff!) settle for a lizard . . .

Lizards are pretty cool.

Can you please tell me the where-abouts of Lizards?

Regards, Ashleigh.
